At thirty-two years of age I've learned advice given free is mostly brushed off or, given in bad times, so it doesn't settle.Everything your told, from a story you're told by some random old dude waiting in line in the buffet line or waiting while getting your engine oil done, usually never thought of again to something your Grandfather told you and you heard it but blown it off.......
But some day, one day, sooner than you think. No matter how you reacted or received the advice whether you were one of those who blew it off or the type that never thought twice about it, the advice they were kind enough to share with you out of their collected wisdom of years of experiences should be earned knowledge, it's always clever enough to be remembered.. It always comes in useful or handy in use in day to day life.
So from now on take more respect of the elderly and their wisdom, don't assume they don't deserve just as much if not more than you and me. Plus they might say something you'll find useful later.
So no matter how annoying advice may be or old stories & fables, pay attention, for if they are not interesting they are entertaining and hey they just might be the words of wisdom that may just change your future....

Quicky
Ever wonder about the progression of thought. Really, from the instant fire was discovered to the technological advances of today. What happened to all the great thinkers, artists, philosophers? Have they been replaced by technology?
Perhaps all of the discoveries and accomplishments going on everyday due to all the technological advances, we overlook the actual thinker(s) (person(s) behind the discoveries or accomplishments.

Tree in the forest...
The age old question. If a tree falls in the middle of a forest and there is no one to hear it, does it still make a sound?
The sound is simply just vibrations. So the real problem when a tree falls in the middle of the forest and nobody is around to hear it, is that nobody's around to feel it. Maybe then if we were close enough to the tree's to feel them falling we would realize a little quicker that we need to be concerned!
When a tree falls in the middle of the forest, do you feel it? You will, not today or tomorrow or even next year for that matter however your children will or perhaps their children. Sometime through this journey of time, everything will catch up to everyone.
We can't stop the problems. Ironically that we produce, through everyday things we use carelessly, electricity, fuel, paper, aluminum, plastics...etc. However we can make a conscience effort to slow the depletion of the earth's resources. I find it amazing how many people think that our resources, are endless, just because they have never personally had an issue with them. While all resources are indeed finite, which means they will be gone or to damaged to use for life as we know it. 'J'

Think about it!?
A majority of you out there have smoked Marijuana. Did you enjoy it? Yeah me to! Well as it is legal in many states for medicinal purposes and decriminalized in some areas, why not make it 100% legal. If doctors all over are agreeing with it's medicinal use as beneficial why then is it still frowned upon by society? The legalization of it will benefit many corners of society.
To produce legal marijuana cigarettes you would need land to grow it on, or environments to grow it in. The reproduction cycle of the marijuana and hemp plant is very quick. If used for paper production just think of the trees and acreage of land that could be re-used up to three times a year. Sounds better than destroying acres of trees that took 30-100 years to grow and the same to replenish only to be destroyed again. Hemp oil, look it up, was used in the early 20th century to run cars, lamps, and lubrication. Guess what it's a lot cleaner than any type of fuel being burnt for energy.
Production would include jobs from cultivating the fields, packaging, distribution warehouses, global business. As we grow some of the worlds finest buds, why are we not capitalizing on it.
Less street level crimes due to marijuana laws, we would open up vacancy of prisons for real hardened criminals, rapists, murderers, women beaters. Let the peaceful stoner dude out. Allowing the police to concentrate on real problems. Think of all the tax-payers money that goes towards the "War on Drugs" and how big of a chunk of that money could go to schools, libraries, museums.
When's the last time you heard "...man i was so stoned i wanted to..." anything? Exactly! Stoners don't do much at all especially anything violent. They laugh, eat, and um.... i can't remember what else, but you get my point!
Even if you don't smoke, let me ask you this. Has marijuana ever impacted your life negatively in any way? Of course you have your lazy stoner kids with no motivation. Ever think if we made it legal it wouldn't be so taboo. Being legal might just take the thrill of it away, making it less desirable for the youth. Plus being legalized & regulated, just like alcohol and tobacco, would make it safer and more difficult to get for minors. Sure anybody can get anything they want these days, but not to try to regulate it is like giving them permission to desire it, "wow...what makes it so bad...let's try it....my brother can get some...". Seems interesting doesn't it? Well if we took the appeal of it away from youth and made it a common thing amongst society, conversation, media, it wouldn't be so intriguing to people, not only youth, but adult alike.
How many of ya are the "...Yeah i would smoke it if it were legal.....but my job test for it...." So you don't have any problem with it except for it being illegal. Now what if it were legal what would you say then. It reminds me of the scene in "Matrix" when the oracle says to neo "don't worry about the vase" the question is, if she wouldn't have said anything would he have broken it? If marijuana was legal, you would never know if you would have said well if it was illegal i wouldn't smoke. Would you stop drinking if they outlawed alcohol again...I didn't think so. Speaking of alcohol, that kills more people than they can keep track of, yet that's legal..... Oh yeah we tax the shit out of that. So why not marijuana. Not just for medicinal purpose, but for all purposes, textile, recreational, medicinal. The product that are made from hemp will outlast most any other material and it's natural. So come on legalize it already. Puff puff pass this along!

AND?
Family what is it? People that are bound by blood to love each other no matter what? People who make mistakes that are a lot easier to forgive and forget? Why is Family so important? Does it shape youth into what society wants youth to become? Does it determine your values as an individual? Does it result in a sheep like society that just encourages monkey see monkey do behavior? How many people wanted to grow up and be whatever because their Dad or Mom was? Now I'm not saying family is bad by any means...just emphasizing a well overlooked truth.
Blood is just a similarity between family, something you have in common, "we're blood." Everybody is of that same blood. We all bleed red. So is not that the true meaning of family: "We are all Blood".
What is color but presence of light? From one we all became, to one we all shall go, from birth till death. So on this journey we call life let's make the best of this habitat we call earth. Love family blood or not, make it a better place for you and your family as we all shall do in the presence of all our families, and all families will benefit. So family what is it, unconditional love is what is thought of when family is concerned, i dare you to love everyone unconditionally. Forgive and forget. Move on what's done is done. You can't change what happened you can only change what is to come, only you can predict your own future. Not by acting but by reacting.
Think fast and react last. Nobody wants to dwell on their mistakes or anyone else's for that matter. SO DON'T. Think is it really worth the negativity wouldn't it be easier to get along instead of even having to remember why you upset or whatever So call, e-mail, text, ..... someone right now that your upset with or mad or whatever and see what happens but do so with an open mind and empty canvas. And...just see what happens. 'J'
